Nancy Belle River Trips

Starting from Cotehele Quay the 'Shamrock's' support boat, 'Nancy Belle', will head up the river Tamar past riverside woodlands, under the railway viaduct, past Calstock and deeper into the valley towards Morwellham Quay. Throughout the trip there will be a commentary on the valley's fauna, flora and history. The trip will last approximately 2 hours. Please wear clothing suitable to the predicted weather.

Please note Nancy Belle's wooden bench seats can become a little uncomfortable so it is advisable to bring along a cushion.

Nancy Belle 2019 trip dates, availability and booking details can be obtained from the National Trusts 'Nancy Belle boat trips from Cotehele Quay' web page.

These trips are very popular and there are only a few single places left.

  1. Hi there. During our last visit we had a chat with a very knowledgeable gent about Shamrock. He said that Shamrock would be coming out of the water soon. It would be great to see her out of the water so could you tell me if she is indeed out of the water? Thanks.

  2. A brilliant trip and excellent crew giving a detailed commentary.
